Hi everyone!

So, new site and new life changes.

Here we go!

Much has changed in my life in the last six months.

Big moments, major changes and  a new role..wow!

It took me a long time to start pulling it all back together again but here we are.

So happy to be back!

I am so excited to share everything that has been going on and all that I have learned and am still learning.

Summer is upon us and it has been zipping along at a blazing pace.

I hope you have all been out there enjoying the dazzling weather with great company and amazing food!

I love this time of year because it gives me a chance to get farm fresh ingredients from the people that actually grow it!

The best and freshest!!

Our family is really big on fresh fruit and veggies.

A quick example….

My daughters boyfriend. “You don’t understand how important coffee is to me.”

My daughter. “You don’t understand how important vegetables are for me.”

Such a hysterical and proud moment for me.

I think I did something right while I was raising them.

So how important have you made vegetables in your life?

I think I probably eat more vegetables in my day than anything else.

Breakfast, veggies!

Lunch, veggies!

Dinner, veggies!

Snack, veggies!

Yup, they keep showing up everywhere and I love it.

Sure, I love a piece of cake or a cookie or some fries or chips but since none of those are in my house presently,,,default to veggies!

I eat tomatoes like apples and avocados rule around here.

I can’t remember the last time I made dinner without veggies showing up somewhere.

It was either in the dish itself or as a side or salad.

I believe that veggies are the largest part of our food bill and when I say there is no food in the house it usually means I have no veggies.

I might have pasta or fruit or even meat but if I have no veggies then apparently I have no food.

Hmm, I guess it is a priority, wonder when that happened?

This is what happens when you train your brain.

Over the past few years as I have been rethinking and learning more about what fuels our bodies I was not even aware that I was shifting my food priorities yer here we are.

I have no food when the veggies are gone.

Wow, what a change for me.

From the women who made bread and pasta daily priorities to one who can’t live without a carrot.

I am sitting here laughing at myself and patting myself on the back as this realization struck me.

So how can you help make this happen for yourself?

That is the very question for our next discussion.

Until then, go and get some veggies at your neighbourhood market and enjoy the savour and flavour!

To your health!!

  1. Hmm it seems like your blog ate my first comment (it was extremely long) so I guess I’ll just sum it up what
I wrote and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog.
I too am an aspiring blog blogger but I’m still new to everything.
Do you have any recommendations for novice blog writers?
    I’d definitely appreciate it.

I actually have been surfing online more than 4 hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like
yours. It’s pretty worth enough for me personally. Personally, if
all web owners and bloggers made good content while you
did, the internet is going to be considerably more useful than in the past.
