CHOCOLATE DIPPED FRUIT
Would you like to be able to create a tasty treat at a moments notice?
These Chocolate Dipped Fruit slices are simple, easy and delicious.
So how do we make these lovely treats?
Collect the fruits you would like to use.
Try apples, pears, figs, dates, bananas,pretzels and nuts.
I am sure you can come up with a few others that you would like to try.
4 ounces of dark or bitter sweet chocolate
1/2 a teaspoon of pure vanilla extract
2 teaspoons of coconut oil
Shredded unsweetened coconut
Melt the chocolate in a medium glass bowl over a pot of hot simmering water.
When the chocolate is melted stir in the coconut oil and vanilla.
Stir to combine well.
Remove bowl from over the pot,
Dip the slices of fruit in the chocolate.
Place the dipped slices on wax paper and sprinkle with coconut or crushed almonds.
Let dry and enjoy.
A lovely healthy choice that treats the eye and the appetite.
