The temperature finally dropped today so I could get back to some baking.
I started the day by roasting some veggies up for the week.
Zucchini got sliced and brushed with olive oil.
I used garlic, salt, pepper and Italian spice on the slices and laid them out
on a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Into the oven at 425 F for about 20 minutes.
Cooled them on the sheet and then transferred them into a container for the

Next up, acorn and butternut squash!
Sliced these beauties in half and scooped out the center.
I brushed them with a bit of olive oil and sprinkled with a little bit of salt
I also sprinkled a bit of garlic powder on the butternut squash.
I placed them face down on a baking sheet covered in parchment paper
and into the oven they went!
425 F for 30-45 minutes.
Removed them from the oven when they were done and let them cool.
Once cooled I scooped out all the meet and packaged them for the fridge.
Oh yum, more goodness ready for the week!
Next I tried a new recipe for Flourless Brownies.
So excited to give this a try!
Will pass on the recipe once it passes the family test.
I made 2 loaves of No Fail Bread.
Really is a no fail loaf.
I have tried to mess it up but it comes out great every time!
Here is the recipe.
No fail Bread
4 cups of flour
1 teaspoon sea salt
2 cups warm water
1 tablespoon of sugar ( you can use 2, your taste )
2 teaspoons of yeast.
Place the warm water in a medium sized bowl.
Add the sugar and sprinkle the yeast over top.
Set aside for 15 minutes until the yeast is bubbly.
In a large bowl, place the 4 cups of flour and the salt.
When the yeast is ready, mix it in the flour mixture.
Combine until all the flour has been incorporated.
Cover with plastic or a dish towel and place in a warm area away from

When dough had doubled, punch down once.
Divide into well buttered loaf pans.
Cover again and let rise 15 minutes.
Preheat over to 425 F.
When the second rise is complete, place both loaves in the middle rack
of the oven for 15 minutes.
Reduce heat to 350 F.
Cook for 15 more minutes.
Remove from oven and pan.
Cool on rack.
Bread for the week.
