Lifelong Learning

Lifelong Learning

This is a question I have often wondered myself.

Do you remember the saying, “you can’t teach an old dog new tricks!”

I don’t believe this to be true.

I think if you have a willingness to learn, have at it!

Do you have a hobby you are passionate about?

Are you looking for a promotion at work or trying to move into another field?

Do you take time to find out to explore the trail routes before you go on a hike?

If you can apply time in this area don’t you think you should look at your work in the same way?

Education doesn’t stop when you leave school.

Want a new job/title/position?

Volunteer for everything you can, take a few courses or find a mentor.

Never stop challenging yourself.

Strive for more in little ways every day.

Ask questions, read books, attend a free lecture, go to trade shows, find events you are interested in but never stop exploring the possibilities of your future.

it is never too late to learn something new.

I have spent the last two weeks learning about new things and I followed the workshop up with learning about new things in my industry.

It has been fantastic getting to know some amazing people and stretching my brain in new directions.

So what are you doing for your brain these days?

What are you doing for your future?

Moving forward or being static, your choice

Are you content where you are or are bigger things waiting for you?

Don’t be the old dog, be the curious cat and set your brain on fire!

To your health!
